The hs basketball playoffs really need to be restructured in alabama. The regular season means hardly anything at all. With that said hatchet is a great postseason coach.

Just win in the playoffs, 03. Go REBELS!!!

Butler is 4A, VH is 6A. Not sure if anyone at any level in AL can beat Butler.

Gem is right. And there isn't a HS team in this state--including Central Park--that I would take in a 5-game series against Butler. This Butler team isn't as deep as the one from two years ago, but they are something special. Doss has those kids playing for the history books in case they're the last green and gold ever to play. Cootie Pride and Trevor Lacey have put on a show--probably too much of one for some of the other teams they've played. Jack Doss isn't afraid to run the score up a little (or a lot).

I probably have a biased view of Butler. That's the one team we never beat back in the "olden days." Always had trouble with them and Lee.

Gem I should know Butler is 4A becuase our school went 6A and don't play them any more. I have always thougt Doss would be an excelleny college coach but he may be to old for to start somewhere else. Trevor Lacey is the real deal.
AP Dr Ann Moore was asst supt of schools here before taking the Huntsville job. I think the entire school sytem celebrated for days after she left. I can't imagine Butler not existing in Huntsville. Hacksaw Ed Richardson is on his way to save the Huntsville school system. Dr. Richardson is the man that can fix it. Where is Pride going to school? I hope Barbee can get Lacey.
