They beat Georgia Tech in the new Jerry Richardson Arena 63-60. Steph Curry could probably not have been any more heroic than the Terriers' Fletcher Magee. I think it was 36 that he had. I watched the last half of this game, and Magee was nailing 3 pointers from downtown Spartanburg OR step-back shots that you wouldn't think had a chance.

Grambling beat them too. Why didn’t we schedule Ga. Tech.?

Went to my son's highschool. For the life of me, I don't get why we don't recruit more in all sports from there. Multiple D1 scholarships every year, but seemingly never a sniff from SU. Although he transferred to another private school for his senior year, David Nickleberry (Memphis Freshman) also went to TFA and was teammates with Macgee for a couple years. Nickleberry was probably too highly recruited for us to get him, but if Wof got Macgee, we probably could have had a shot at him. And the school already sends dozens of kids to SU. My son's graduation, only UF came close to getting more of our kids than SU, but I think we still beat them. They kept announcing Samford, Samford, Samford. I loved it.

Been that way for 20 years (since Mr. Gamble was at TFA).
