Coaching Makes Difference

If you want to see a gem of a coaching job, then replay the ESPN3 Game today of SAMFORD vs Troy. Troy was quicker, taller, and was ranked nationally in rebounding. Troy was probably a double digit favorite(just my guess). The game went according to plan in the beginning. After the first quarter, Troy led 23-11, and a blowout looked inevitable, as Samford was totally outmanned on the boards. NOPE, not to be, as the Dogs began chipping away and came out with a 80-73 WIN. :o What a comeback!!! Mike Morris was brilliant, and, IMO, really schooled the Troy lady to pull this off.

Nice win. Watched the 2nd half. Thought the play of Charity Brown at PG was the difference. She was only two rebounds short of a triple double. Her 11 assists were huge. Hope we can get some momentum going before league play begins.

This falls in line with the tradition of Troy finding a way to choke against the mighty Bulldogs.

Congratulations to the ladies. Nice win.
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?

Mrs. Blog and I had to leave at the beginning of the 4th quarter because of a church event. Won't do that again. I was getting text updates from the friends sitting around us. Couldn't believe it. Nice comeback win for the ladies. They needed and deserved it.
