Prayers needed

Prayers needed

Postby Two Rings » Thu Apr 12, 2018 1:32 am

Was just informed by Shane Harmon that Bob Stinchcomb is in the hospital in Jacksonville with bleeding brain lesions and a blood clot in his leg. They do not know the cause of the lesions, but it isn't related to the brain cancer he had while he was here at Samford. The blood clots can't be treated while the lesions are present because the medicine would cause greater brain bleeding. He has lost sight in one eye and is paralyzed on one side and is having difficulty speaking.
I know Danny Fairbanks is there with him now and Tony Ierulli and Shane are going down this weekend.
Please lift him up with your prayers.
Bob was a great mentor and an even better person.
He showed Mother Teresa - esk patience in tutoring me on the intricacies of breaking down game film.

Heartbreaking news. What a wonderful coach and person. I always thought the world of Bob. I once told my pastor about him and his witness, and we arranged for Bob to preach our Sunday Morning Service. He was so impressive that our preacher told Bob that "coach, you missed your calling."

Two Rings please keep us informed, and hopefully many prayers will be lifted up.

He's a very kind gentle man. He was very well respected when he was here.
