Check that, we need to get two on to make it interesting.

Wait, wait. Make that one runner on. The catcher hits a dinger. That’s a manufactured run.

An error and a walk and its now a 1 run game with runners at the corners. Dogs aren’t done yet. We are making it interesting. Scrappy is what I’d say about this team.

Ok, let’s beat them here in the bottom of the 9th. Got them right where we want them, right? We just need one to play more baseball and two for a walk off win. We’ve com this far, why not just return the favor to MSU and let them feel what it is like to be winning the whole game and having a loss snatched from the jaws of victory.

Umpire expands the zone late on Samford again. Amazing how it has been consistent the whole tournament. Game is on the line and suddenly the power 5 team gets an expanded strike zone on Samford.

Good season. Exceeded everyone’s expectations, especially 03 (who said we’d be lucky to go .500—just saying).

Seeing SU DOG was the only other person with enough guts to go on the record, he's the only one who's allowed to bring that up, lol. And I said that after we played some really bad baseball in a series loss to ETSU.

It was a very good season, but like football, not a great one. Had our best conference winning percentage, won the conference tournament (thanks WCU), and upset a FSU team at home (thanks for pitching your 3rd starter). Maybe it was due to some of the youth on the team, but I think we had a team more capable than the 37-26 record. Put me strongly in the camp of the regular season championship having more weight than a conference tourney, regardless of sport. Team was picked 3rd preseason by coaches and media, finished 2nd.

Good Gosh 03, you have rather lofty demands don't you? What will be a great football season? Nothing short of a NC?

Personally, I reserve great for Southern Conference championships when reviewing a season.
