Over 1,400 at the game, and Samford is thanking them. What Samford should be doing is accommodating them. How can 1400 fit into about(I'm guessing) 500 seats? They stand 4-5 deep at the top of the bleachers. This is NOT a new thing, as I have seen it for years. Granted they could go across to the East Stands, but they do not want to separate, and that is understandable. Sorry to be negative, but I'm just sayin'.

Agreed. You build loyalty (and noise) from the students. Make room for them. Plenty of room on the other side for the average fan. Or install some temporary bleachers in the end zone or above the north end of the seats on the home side
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?

Also, they were so crowded the students were overflowing into the aisle. Folks who had seats in front of the green seats had trouble making it down the stairs. Good thing the Fire Marshal wasn’t there.
