SU Dog, you should compare recruiting stars in the starting line ups.

Using the power of the stars, the likely outcome will be 46 to 19 (average of 47 to 17 on offense and 45 to 21 on defense). That’s as scientific as you can get.

Hold on, Coach Nye, I think you're forgetting something.

Stars emit massive amounts of energy per second and so the power of a star is enormous. ... The Stefan- Boltzmann law (AKA Law 247) states that the power emitted by a body of surface area A and with a surface temperature T (K) is given by the equation: Power = σAT4 where σ is a constant (5.7x10-8 Wm-2K-4). (Note: we are assuming here that the temperature of the surroundings (an FBS College Football Stadium) has a temperature of 0 K)

If we assume that a star is roughly spherical then A = 4πr2 for a star of radius r.

The power of a star is = 4πσr2T4 = 7.16x10-7r2T4

So...multiply that times your 46 & 19...and then you have the final score...which, if I borrowed & carried properly, equals....WAY more than Memphis beat Mercer by.

Does anyone ever wondered whether this board really exists, or if it is a delusion of the mind where multiple personalities debate. In other words, the board is just your thought process. I mean, if you had a psychosis and it manifested itself in the form of this board, how would you know that FUBear didn’t actually exist and he wasn’t you? What is reality? Ask Mercer. Memphis kept it real.

Stars? Did Cujo just ask for stars or stats? He is finally coming around. Yes! BTW Baker Mayfield had no stars.

Did I understand FUBeAR to say that we are assuming the average temp of the surroundings of a college football stadium is 0 K? If that is the case Saturday Night at Doak Campbell Stadium, then the story line will be the new Ice Age and not a football game. That temperature is actually -459.67 degrees F.

Ice Age? 0 K just a mathematical construct (assumption) I used to facilitate the high-level cipherin' I was doing. You may insert the projected temp at kickoff and recalculate if you would like...but I'm tellin' ya....If we plop 65 stars down at the 50 yard line of Doak Campbell (in lieu of a a tiny flame on the end of a hokey wooden spear - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xn4eLOf1LkA), I don't think we're going to be able to keep the beer cold, and if you're attending, the recommended sunscreen SPF is 99,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 to the 100,000,000,000,000,000th power!
