What would a win today do?

What would a win today do?

One, we would have a sure enough rivalry with Kennesaw State.

Two, Would we be back in the national conversation?

Three, Would we see the return of Sanford Circle?

Four, with this board return to being active?

Five, With such a weak schedule, would a loss to a one in three Samford adversely impact Kennesaw State ranking?

Six, How would the Samford PR folks handle it?

I have no faith in this coaching staff (and I didn’t have much after last season). After the first series I predicted to a friend the final would be 28 to 13 and 7 of those for us would come when it was 28 to 6 and KSU was playing soft to let the clock run out. I was close. We didn’t have a clue how to win that game. If the OC is here next year, Hatcher should be removed. We have looked unprepared to play since FSU (a game we should have won). This has been the worst coaching job in Samford history (and that is Saying a lot). I know we are going to lose sometimes and I know some teams are just going to be better than us now and then, but we have been out coached and out prepared on both sides of the ball in every 1aa game from from the first whistle. Everything I’m seeing this season is what I’ve been complaining about for 3 seasons. Hatcher is not ready to coach at this level. But he’s doing a good job with his show.

Keep your head up and battle. Socon can be anyone's race, and a loss at KSU has nothing to do with the conference. Glad we never have to play Hodges (I hope) again.
