Good job of preparation for this game. I saw some attack in our offense. I saw some hurry up. But, WCU has no defense, so I’m guarded with my optimism. 5 more to go.

I have no idea how much of a jump start today's game will give the Bulldogs, but it certainly showed the Cats up for the pretenders they are this season. I'm not sure the team can spell defense, much less play any.

Helluva win for you guys.

Thought your freshman qb looked good and both teams played with class. The Cats just self-destructed on offense, which allowed the game to get out of hand quick.

We've got high hopes for Will Jones, he should be a good one to carry on after Tyrie is gone next year.

GooD luck to the Bulldogs the remainder of the season, hope you can stay in championship form like you were today.

Most impressive showing from a Samford offense I've ever seen.

One thing the Catamounts can do, that is make our opponents look good.

In yesterday's game, we had the Bulldogs looking like the preseason #1 team in the SoCon they were voted.

Next week, Chattanooga will look so go, you'll think that Russ Huesman is back coaching them.

WCU certainly has their issues on defense, but that game yesterday had more to do with what we did than what WCU didn't. Moved 1 and 6 back to the slots, ditched the TE formation and got back to an almost 2:1 pass/run ratio.

I didn’t put pen to paper to figure this out, but eyeballing this thing, the win goes to 68.

I gave up on Butkuss’ official post.
