On another note, congrats to UNA women for going to Vanderbilt and leading the game just about wire to wire and winning in their 1st D1 game. That's very impressive. To make the post Samford related, we lost by 21 to UT-Martin.

I agree - Congrats Lady Lions. In a scary related matter, JSU Men went down to Tuscaloosa on Oct 28, and had one of those closed scrimmages with the Crimson Tide. I know it was a scrimmage, BUT the final ended up 92-66 in favor of JSU.

JSU destroyed Bama that day. They were way better than the Tide that day.
Go Bulldogs!!!

JSU has a fine basketball team, but before we put them in the final four, let's keep in mind they were picked 3rd in the OVC and finished 4th last season. I would put very, very little stock into those preseason scrimmages and exhibitions, Auburn got beat by D2 Berry College last season, then won the SEC.

Opening line has JSU as a 9 point favorite.
