SoCon Tournament CHAMPIONS - CONGRATS

SoCon Tournament CHAMPIONS - CONGRATS

Fantastic job by the SAMFORD Volleyball Team, as they just beat #1 seed ETSU 3-1 to win the tourney and go to the NCAAs. We have a coach in Keylor Chan that just knows how to get a team to peak at the right time. ETSU 28-5 before today, had beaten such names brands as Clemson, Duke, University of Tennessee Vols, and Washington State. The were 6-0 in sets in the tournament before today, and frankly it was thought that the Bucs would run rough-shod through the SoCon tourney. Samford was the #2 seed. I sure would like to see us get a decent draw in the NCAA field - stay tuned.

And now the girls go to play the #11 team, the USC Trojans. Regardless of what happens in California, this has been a wonderful season, and Coach Chan does a remarkable job(just hope that Bama doesn't look at him, since they are hiring a new HC). For those who have never seen Samford Volleyball, you just don't know what you're missing.

We do lose 2 of our starters who are seniors this year, but there is a very solid nucleus that returns. Also, recruiting has gone really well IMO. Coach has signed the #1 ranked player in Alabama who is a Gatorade Player of The Year :o, a Georgia player who is a POY in the private school division, and a Canadian player who is highly touted, among others.

Do the USC Song Girls make appearances at volleyball games? That would probably increase the number of fans watching the game.

I’d watch the song girls play volleyball. Just saying.
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?
