In my 32 years of association with Samford, I have never attended a hanging of the green. Next year it will be 33.

Was I ever wrong about student attendance!

BTW, I’ve never attended a HOG at SU. I don’t know the University even did any kind of decorating, when I was here.

It was a great game. I like our team. This team can grow from here and be better as the year goes on. Our league had some good teams and I think we're one of them.

Belmont has some talent. We have done a good job with recruiting, but Belmont was a more talented team, deeper, well coached and more disciplined. We had a lot of fight in us and we played hard. We need some more discipline (or maybe seasoning) on the court and the side lines.

#5 needs even more playing time.
