Anybody know what we need to do in track, golf, tennis, and softball to stave off those pesky Furman ladies?

Easiest way is to win the track and golf championships; then the tennis and softball regular season and their championship tournaments. If we don’t come in first, just need to make certain _urman doesn’t finish in the top three positions. Right now the _urples are in first place in tennis and our ladies are way back, but still early in the season.

“May 29, 2018 - GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman captured its third-straight straight Germann Cup...Furman's Germann Cup win was its 16th overall and fourth in the last five years. The Paladins totaled 66.42 points on the year for a .949 percentage. Furman captured SoCon championship titles in cross country, women's tennis, and women's golf, while securing regular season SoCon titles in women's tennis and volleyball and a share of the title in women's soccer.

While FU did win the Germann Cup last year, it should be pointed out that Samford was second, and Samford was also 2nd in the Commissioners Cup on the Men's side, while FU was 3rd. Argument could be made that Samford had the best Athletic Program overall. Both of these small privates are tough outs to be honest.

Softball took both games from the_urples today, but women’s tennis lost to UNCG today.

Congratulations to HC Mandy Burford-Johnson for winning games 200 and 201 today.

_urman ladies won their fifth straight SoCon Women’s Golf Championship today. The Ladies of Lakeshore came in 6th. Really puts pressure on softball, women’s tennis, and women’s outdoor track and field teams to finish well in the next few weeks.

Good news - our ladies tennis team beat UNCG in quarter finals action today.
Not so good news - they get to play the 1-seed _urman ladies tomorrow morning.
