Mike Young...

AP and 03 working together and agreeing on something . . . 77, your house is built on quicksand. I'm not even going to get into how ridiculous it would be to try fit those two egos into the UCLA basketball arena at the same time.

UCLA has enough room for Nick Cronin’s ego. Looks like our guys missed their chance this time.

For only a fraction of that $4m a year I'd be someone's assistant and keep my mouth shut. Maybe DC_Int'l. Def not 03.

Aren't you guys overlooking(the obvious) someone on this Board? Who else has been Jefferson County Coach of The Year, won over 200 games, had a perfect 32-0 regular season, 4 Area championships, and 3 Playoff appearances? This was at a school that was averaging 3.5 wins/year before he arrived. Even entertained Bobby Knight. For the $4 mil, I bet he would come out of retirement and take the Bruins to their loftiest peak since J.W. 8-)

There would be no shortage of self-promotion if SU Dog got the job. Geez. Even talking about himself in the third person.

OK, now that you've solved the mystery of whom I was speaking of, I'm not nearly as skilled as FUB on that 3rd person deal. :D
A few years back, a former player of mine, and a HS coach himself, was talking with George Hatchett(retired 3 years ago from VHHS), and he mentioned his old HS coach. Hatchett's reply, "You mean he is still alive?"

BTW, we played Vestavia, and George's team made us look like we had NEVER been on a BB court before.

UCLA said they wanted someone with a little less "life experience." When SU Dog was coaching "Old Town Road" was just "Town Road."

(That's a current hip hop joke for some of you who need it translated.)
