Appears to be a very solid hire. Will have her work cut out for her early.

What's up with Samford hiring ex-Valdosta State coaches?
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?

Lol. I like the fact that she spent 6 years as an assistant at Belmont. Think it helps to have some experience at a peer institution.

Really GOOD hire IMO. Ironically, her last game was March 10, and it was played in the Pete Hanna Center, where the 5th seed VSU Blazers lost to the 3rd seed Lee University Flames(Flames beat Blazers...hmmm) in the GSC Championship Game. Interesting that Lee HC Marty Rowe said in his post-game interview that Carley Kuhns would soon be a HC at a P5 school.

BTW, that March 10 game can still be viewed(soon to be deleted) on ESPN streaming.

I just hope she likes the WBB locker room the way it is and doesn't want to make any drastic changes soon.
