Kelvin McKnight- waived by the Broncos
Nick Williams- made the Bears cut
Jaquaski Tarrt- made the 49ers cut
James Bradberry- made the Panthers cut
Austin Barnard- waived by the Titans
Ahmad Gooden- waived by the Broncos
Michael Pierce- made the Ravens cut
Devlin Hodges- waived by the Steelers

Tomorrow teams can add 10 players to their practice squad. Some of these guys may be placed on the practice squad.

The McKnight move surprises me a bit; thought he had proven himself. Hodges move was simply a money/investment move, in my opinion. Had they had the draft pick invested, I believe he makes it...seemed to be a fan favorite!

Gooden was signed to the practice squad after being cut. McKnight wasn't. There were two spots left but they are likely to go to two players cut after initially making the 53 man roster.

Hodges and McKnight reunite in the XFL, in 3 years both are in the nfl.

58 comments as of me posting this (when article was only 7 hours old), so clearly a lot of Steelers fans liked Devlin. Just can’t figure out what NFL teams think he’s missing. McKnight surprises me too, ESPN had him projected to make the Broncos 53 the day before final cutdowns.

When will we know about practice squad for these guys or possibly XFL/CFL?

Speculation that Steelers will sign back Hodges to replace recently traded Joshua Dobbs.

That’s awesome.

Devlin is back, but should we be somewhat disappointed that the Steelers signed him to the Practice Squad? I know that is still an accomplishment against all odds, but IMO, there is somewhere in the NFL that this guy could be a real contributor. Maybe over time things will still work out for Duck. I do know that the Steelers Fans, judging by their posts, are happy to see him return

He is the no. 3 QB. The good thing for him is that any NFL team can sign him to their regular roster off the practice squad. This may be temporary, one of the articles I read said he was just on the practice squad 'for now' indicating they may elevate him to the 53 man roster.
