Is the board dead?

We need new blood with new ideas and youthful exuberance for Samford athletics on here. The rest of us have left the building for the proverbial blue plate special in the sky.
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?

The board needs to be updated or replaced with another board or perhaps a FB group. The tech is as ancient as some of us posters.

The fact that I'm the only one replying, says it all. Who is ultimately in charge of the board/domain. Before trying to reach out to students the board needs to stop looking like the butt of a 'hello, the 90's called' joke.

Tried posting reply to SUDog’s latest post and got a sequel error statement.

This one worked, so will try again, but alas, no luck.

It's time. Board needs a new updated platform.

I love this board. I'm not on Facebook much and really, a lot of people are moving away from it.

But it must change. We had several outages, and it looks old. Needs to be overhauled. The cost all but nill. We don't need a fundraiser. We just need to decide. As to FB, I guarantee there are more alums there than have ever been here. That said, I'd rather have us here and independent but the board is hurting. If you can't see that then you need to come around more often. It's gotten bad., Jay. I'm just frustrated that not many seem to care that the board is in such wretched shape. It doesn't cost anything to care.

This board is more user friendly than most of the other platforms Ive seen. That said, it is dead.

Big_Dog, if you want to redesign and find a new host, go for it. I keep this one limping along but it's not my strong suit nor do I have the time to maintain it. SU Fanatic started it and then life (a law practice and three kiddos) got in her way so I stepped in. I'd love to have something more modern but I don't have the capacity to making it any more than it is, sorry.

I didn't mean to come off like an ingrate. I understand that this is a labor of love. I do think this is something to look at doing (updating/upgrading) next summer when everything has wrapped up for the year.
