Samford looks pretty good tonight. Team approach we haven’t see yet this year.

I think our announcers are bigger Manhattan fans than they are Samford

That kind of effort and execution will give us a competitive team.

Nice win. I’m not holding my breath until we see consistency. Begs the question, what have we been trying to do before tonight?

Amazing what happens when you move the ball and play like a team. Manhattan had to have come into this game licking their chops and expecting the crap we have put on tape up to this point. I’m with them, I’m scratching my head too.

We just look different with Sharkey. Even when he was in the bench.

You never know if it is the opponent or what, but we looked a lot less selfish last night. We actually moved the ball. Played energetic defense. There were fewer out of control drives to the basket and fewer just inexcusable turnovers.

I seriously wonder if Manhattan came in after watching the tape expecting to have an easy go of it. They may not have been dialed in and ready to play a worthy opponent. I know I was surprised with the play of Samford relative to our other games. It looked like a completely different team. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The key for Samford is to play like that consistently. If there is one thing Samford can do, they can win a game and then think they have made the NCAA tournament and be a no show or clown show the next game.

I found out from the broadcast last night that Manhattan is actually in the Bronx.

Yeah, I heard that also. BUT what I didn't hear was who was the foul on, or what happened on the play. There was a ball game going on while the geography lesson was being taught.

We stuck with that king of the personal/third party story, broadcaster, all year for home games?
