According to my trusty app, the Dogs are a 48.5 underdog to the Tigers.

Hmmmmm, that’s tempting. If we can’t throw the ball, we won’t push Auburn’s big, fast athletes around like WCU. On the bright side, our defense . . . well, hmmmmm, this is a tough call. Maybe if the odds makers find out Sharkey is back the spread will go down.

I don't think we can beat the Tigers, but we can beat that spread. Yikes. I know we're down, but that's ridiculous.

I remember 1992 when Terry Bowden took a good Samford Team to play the Tigers. Final was Auburn 55 Samford 0, so it can happen. Will we play fast on offense and help this spread be reached? I hope not. The spread could be worse, however. Western Carolina is a 57 point underdog to Bama. In the SEC itself, LSU is a 43.5 point favorite over Arkansas. That has to be one of the largest spreads ever for 2 SEC teams.

We'll get beat soundly, but Auburn is going to stay vanilla and protect their starters. They will still be able to score at will on us, but if I were a betting man, I wouldn't take them to cover a 48 point spread.

I don't recall ever seeing a 57 point spread in a college football game before.

Well we almost made it one full drive without Hatcher calling an asinine weird formation.

Auburn really doesn’t need help from the officials today, but that’s what we’re getting. They looked offside AGAIN on the 4th down play, and that DPI call... Geez.

New idea... All of us ask to never see Chris Hatcher on a football field again for Christmas.

Did I read this correctly? We had 21 yards of “total” offense in the first half? Go Dogs!

It’s okay though. We’ll get another classic “Aww shucks... This starts with me.” speech from Chris Hatcher.

If we score a TD in garbage time, we’ll probably offer him a 10 year extension.
