Oh I didn't think you intended to mislead. Just be careful believing everything you are told ;)

Most of what I'm told comes from sudog03, and it is always prime info.

And if you're deciding between what you're told and what's on the 990, always trust the 990.

Uh oh, I just saw that VMI pulled even with Samford with 2 wins. Samford has the tiebreaker with one more head to head to go. This should be like the EPL ad the bottom two teams get relegated to D2.

Did you ask him if that meant firing Padgett? How else can "get this right" look?

The people who haven’t gotten it right in 10 years suddenly have the answer?

I have no doubt Newton wants this to work. I have little doubt he can actually make it work.

Sometimes the key to recovery isn’t just to recognize you have a problem, it is to recognize you aren’t and don’t have the answer.

And maybe Newton makes it work on the third try. Personally though, given the history, I don't wanna take such a risk by allowing him the opportunity. I think it is very risky to allow him a third chance after his first two have failed so miserably. Unfortunately, I think that is a moot point. If Padgett is dismissed before his contract expires, I think it is highly likely Newton is the AD who will hire his replacement.
