Basketball roster 20/21

Well, since 03 rained on my parade about our WBB program :D , I will have to agree with The Cats. By the end of the season, our team could have and WOULD have beaten the champions of a bunch of those WBB conferences that were more highly rated than the SoCon. Also, how we perform(in any sport) should have nothing to do with ANY other team's coach.

That is so true. First, however, we have to overthrow the cabal/deep state.
In an imperfect world, absolute truth is divisive. There's no unity in truth. Decide then whether truth before unity or unity before truth?

So has everyone ordered their SAM-dot Bucky Ball t-shirt for $26+tax?

They gave us the Witness the Beginning t-shirts and look where that got us. Maybe paying for the new shirts will bring better results.

When they get rid of SAM-dot, then give me a call. During my corn-teen closet purge, I found the Nike Golf Dri-Fit SAM-dot polo given to Samford Classic volunteers.last October. Anyone interested in a size large, navy blue Nike polo? Didn't want to send it to Goodwill without asking.

Ok, with recent departures and additions, anyone want to cobble together the current line up and guess at our starters and first 3-4 off the bench?

Preston Parks, Richardson Maitre, AJ Staton, K.J. Davis and Jaleen Dupree is my guess for a starting five. Myron Gordon, Logan Dye, Triston Chambers, and Dante Tatum first four off the bench. Stanley Henderson if he is healthy and J.P. Robinson next. Then i'd go with Luke Champion, Marcellus Vail, and Jaron Rillie. The bench after Myron and Logan is a complete guess

Richardson Maitre will have to sit out a year though, right?

J.P. Robinson - averaged 2.4 points a game in almost 12 minutes of action per game - 3 years left
Myron Gordon - academically ineligble last season, avg. 12 points per game in 2018-2019 season - 1 year left (maybe could have taken RS last year)
Preston Parks - on 3rd school in 3 seasons, was SoCon freshman of the year 2 schools ago - 1 year left
Logan Dye - avg. 4.7 points per game, ankle injury late in season - 2 years left
Donte Tatum - avg. 4.3 points per game - 1 season left
Jalen Dupree - avg. 10.3 points per game - 1 season left
KJ Davis - transfer from ECU, 2 years left
Stanley Robinson - hasn't suited up for a game in 2 years
Marcellus Vail - Ky. - twitter offers from Kentucky state and Kent state
Luke Champion - Ga. - twitter offers from Georgia State, Longwood, Incarnate Word
AJ Staton - HS signee, several mid-major offers
Richardson Maitre - 3rd school in 3 years - 1 year left
Jaron Rillie - signed out prep school - no other known offers

Assuming Walk-On since no official announcement (signed LOI):
Tristian Chambers - one year left, transfer from UAH, Samford to UAH, back to Samford

So, that leaves us with 1 left if Chambers is a walk-on or full if he's on scholarship. May have missed someone. As of right now, assuming academics are good, all would eligible to play next season.
