Wednesday night, February 12, is a Red Out Game

Just saw where they are giving free shirts to the first 500. Wonder what will happen to the extra 400?

Not to take our resident handicapper, SU DOG job or anything, but MBB is the worst team in the country against the spread. Can we stay inside the 11.5 points spread tonight? Not investment advice.

We are tied for next to last place in the league. Furman is the second best team in the league. The spread is 11.5.

ETSU, the best team in the league, is playing the Citadel, the worst team in the league. That spread is 21.5.

At least that game is at ETSU. Of games that have a spread tonight throughout all of college basketball, we are the largest home under dog. So, at least we have that going for us.

If we dont lose by at least 20 points I'll be shocked.

And in spite of that it is still a sucker line. I doubt there is a soul on this board who thinks Furman won't cover with ease. I'd be surprised if we keep it to within 20. Furman still has something to play for. We don't.

Also, for the sake of clarification, contrary to my previous post, ETSU is actually in second place. FU owns the head to head victory. Both teams sit at 10-2 in the league. I can only imagine how exciting these times must be if you are a Furman, ETSU, or even a UNCG fan.

As I say, "for entertainment purposes ONLY"! BTW, I recently saw a couple of beautiful little girls who sure looked a lot like yours. Surely that's not the case, however. because they didn't have on SAMFORD shirts. Those were War Eagle ones in the photo. Seriously though great pic, and I bet that Coach Bruce Pearl was glad to accommodate.

Not to belittle a fine Christian organization, but I thought it was rather ironic that on the back of those Red Out shirts were the words SEND RELIEF.

The players were promised a pizza party if they didn’t lose by 20
