Today they elected to drop mom and apple pie too.

Who cuts baseball? This is America, damn it.

UTC dropped baseball one year after Title IX was passed. They haven’t fielded a baseball team since 1980.

Yes, I know. But, it’s UTC. Nobody cares. Pretty sad when the flagship SoCon school, in the conferences strongest sport, quits too. Reports are that parents and alumni offered to raise or provide the money for baseball, but Furman said “no”.
